As Investment Principal, you will report directly to the Head of Investments and have high level exposure to all aspects of this dynamic business.

We are looking for candidates who want to be part of a dynamic and growing company and are willing to actively contribute to the expansion of the organization. This is an opportunity to support the investment team across market research, analysis of potential investments, and monitoring of active investments. 

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Investments your role will include the following:

  • Assisting with formulation of investment themes and researched-based insight into the investment landscape.
  • Deal flow management, sourcing potential investments.
  • Preparing due diligence on potential investments, including market research, review of technology, industry trends, and leading reference calls.
  • Supporting analysis of company financials, building alternative financial models, creating pro-forma cap tables, conducting valuation analysis, and performing exit scenarios and waterfall analysis.
  • Drafting and presenting investment memos, quarterly portfolio reviews and portfolio operating metrics.
  • Proactively monitoring portfolio companies (covering governance, risk identification, board level developments; advising the Head of Investments on risks and opportunities).

ESSENTIAL KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for a self-motivated candidate with a positive attitude who can operate collaboratively to deliver results. An ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • 8+ years of prior work experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, or venture capital
  • Strong excel and financial modeling skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ambition and drive to be part of a rapidly growing, high-performing team
  • High proficiency in English
  • Eligibility to work in the US

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study with an outstanding academic track record
  • Interest in cybersecurity, space, and/or nuclear energy sectors
