The AWS re:Inforce Event
On the 25th and 26th of June, AWS are hosting their re:Inforce event in Boston. Held in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event promises the best of cyber security, identity, compliance learning and community building.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the most established and comprehensive cloud platforms in the world. Their 165 fully featured services are trusted by brands like Expedia, Airbnb and Finra. We at C5 Capital partnered with AWS to bring C5 Accelerate to the market – our cloud-technology investment firm that focuses on impact technology, including fintech, cyber security, cleantech and agritech.
AWS’s re:Inforce event has been targeted at two audiences, experts in cloud security and identity that are looking to improve skills and discover new innovations, and executive-level professionals who are hoping to use the AWS platform to develop their business.
The agenda has been split into four session tracks to ensure attendees get the most out of the two days:
- The Foundation – this will be suitable for those looking to enhance their knowledge in topics vital to cloud security, identity, and management.
- Governance, Risk, & Compliance – this track looks at the tools required to audit your cloud environment. It will also teach you how to automate tools and services related to compliance, as well as deepen your knowledge of best practise in this space.
- Security Deep Dive – this track is a more comprehensive look at topics related to cloud security. It will best suit those looking for guidance on automation and operational quality, covering topics such as improving existing security, identity operations and engineering processes.
- Security Pioneers – this track will be particularly beneficial for experts that are looking to stay ahead of the game. It will focus on innovation within cloud security, referencing identity services, new solutions, and opportunities for your business.
Each track includes a variety of sessions (classic lecture style presentations), chalk talks (less formal group discussions focussed on Q&A), workshops (with attendees working together to solve problems using the AWS platform), builders sessions (where we’ll be given hands on experience in using AWS platforms) and one leadership session per track.
The re:Inforce event is of clear value to cyber security experts, cloud technology professionals and cyber security investors. Our Head of Partnerships at C5, Tami Longaberger, is attending the event on behalf of C5.
